kaśyapo ’trir vasiṣṭhaś ca
viśvāmitro ’tha gautamaḥ
jamadagnir bharadvāja
iti saptarṣayaḥ smṛtāḥ

WORD BY WORD



TRANSLATION

Kaśyapa, Atri, Vasiṣṭha, Viśvāmitra, Gautama, Jamadagni and Bharadvāja are known as the seven sages.

PURPORT
