nanṛtus tasya purataḥ
striyo ’tho gāyakā jaguḥ
mṛdaṅga-vīṇā-paṇavair
vādyaṁ cakrur mano-ramam

TRANSLATION

The women danced before the sage, and the celestial singers sang to the charming accompaniment of drums, cymbals and vīṇās.
