kṛto hiraṇyanābhasya catur-viṁśati saṁhitāḥ śiṣya ūce sva-śiṣyebhyaḥ śeṣā āvantya ātmavān

TRANSLATION
| Kṛta, the disciple of Hiraṇyanābha, spoke twenty-four saṁhitās to his own disciples, and the remaining collections were passed down by the self-realized sage Āvantya.

| This verse has not purport by His Holiness Hṛdayānanda dās Gosvāmi, initiated disciple of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Svāmī Prabhupāda.
