śālvaḥ pratijñām akaroc
chṛṇvatāṁ sarva-bhūbhujām
ayādavāṁ kṣmāṁ kariṣye
pauruṣaṁ mama paśyata

TRANSLATION

Śālva swore in the presence of all the kings: “I will rid the earth of Yādavas. Just see my prowess!”
