ity udīritam ākarṇya
devaṛṣer uddhavo ’bravīt
sabhyānāṁ matam ājñāya
kṛṣṇasya ca mahā-matiḥ

TRANSLATION
 | Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: Having thus heard the statements of Devarṣi Nārada, and understanding the opinions of both the assembly and Lord Kṛṣṇa, the great-minded Uddhava began to speak.
