mṛdaṅga-vīṇā-muraja-
veṇu-tāla-dara-svanaiḥ
nanṛtur jagus tuṣṭuvuś ca
sūta-māgadha-vandinaḥ

TRANSLATION
 | These performers would dance and sing to the sounds of mṛdaṅgas, vīṇās, murajas, flutes, cymbals and conchshells, while professional poets, chroniclers and panegyrists would recite the Lord’s glories.
