ete yaunena sambaddhāḥ
saha-śayyāsanāśanāḥ
vṛṣṇayas tulyatāṁ nītā
asmad-datta-nṛpāsanāḥ

TRANSLATION
 | It is because these Vṛṣṇis are bound to us by marital ties that we have granted them equality, allowing them to share our beds, seats and meals. Indeed, it is we who have given them their royal thrones.
