padbhyāṁ tāla-pramāṇābhyāṁ
kampayann avanī-talam
so ’bhyadhāvad vṛto bhūtair
dvārakāṁ pradahan diśaḥ

TRANSLATION

On legs as tall as palm trees, the monster raced toward Dvārakā in the company of ghostly spirits, shaking the ground and burning the world in all directions.
