pauṇḍrako ’pi tad-udyogam
upalabhya mahā-rathaḥ
akṣauhiṇībhyāṁ saṁyukto
niścakrāma purād drutam

TRANSLATION

Upon observing Lord Kṛṣṇa’s preparations for battle, the mighty warrior Pauṇḍraka quickly went out of the city with two full military divisions.
