taṁ gandhaṁ madhu-dhārāyā
vāyunopahṛtaṁ balaḥ
āghrāyopagatas tatra
lalanābhiḥ samaṁ papau

TRANSLATION

The wind carried to Balarāma the fragrance of that flood of sweet liquor, and when He smelled it He went [to the tree]. There He and His female companions drank.
