tato bāhu-sahasreṇa
nānāyudha-dharo ’suraḥ
mumoca parama-kruddho
bāṇāṁś cakrāyudhe nṛpa

WORD BY WORD

TRANSLATION

Carrying numerous weapons in his thousand hands, O King, the terribly infuriated demon shot many arrows at Lord Kṛṣṇa, the carrier of the disc weapon.
