tan-mātā koṭarā nāma
nagnā makta-śiroruhā
puro ’vatasthe kṛṣṇasya
putra-prāṇa-rirakṣayā

TRANSLATION

Just then Bāṇāsura’s mother, Koṭarā, desiring to save her son’s life, appeared before Lord Kṛṣṇa naked and with her hair undone.
