vaidarbhy etad avijñāya
tvayādīrgha-samīkṣayā
vṛtā vayaṁ guṇair hīnā
bhikṣubhiḥ ślāghitā mudhā

TRANSLATION
 | O Vaidarbhī, not being farsighted, you didn’t realize this, and therefore you chose Us as your husband, even though We have no good qualities and are glorified only by deluded beggars.
