ity uktaḥ svāṁ duhitaraṁ
kanyāṁ jāmbavatīṁ mudā
arhaṇārtham sa maṇinā
kṛṣṇāyopajahāra ha

WORD BY WORD

TRANSLATION

Thus addressed, Jāmbavān happily honored Lord Kṛṣṇa by offering Him his maiden daughter, Jāmbavatī, together with the jewel.
