vaidarbhyāḥ sa tu sandeśaṁ
niśamya yadu-nandanaḥ
pragṛhya pāṇinā pāṇiṁ

 | Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: Thus hearing the confidential message of Princess Vaidarbhī, Lord Yadunandana took the brāhmaṇa’s hand and, smiling, spoke to him as follows.
