āvayoḥ yudhyator asya
yady āgantā jarā-sutaḥ
bandhūn haniṣyaty atha vā
neṣyate sva-puraṁ balī

WORD BY WORD

TRANSLATION

“If powerful Jarāsandha comes while We two are busy fighting Kālayavana, Jarāsandha may kill Our relatives or else take them away to his capital.”
