sva-vikrame pratihate
kuñjarendro ’ty-amarṣitaḥ
codyamāno mahāmātraiḥ
kṛṣṇam abhyadravad ruṣā

TRANSLATION
 | His prowess foiled, the lordly elephant Kuvalayāpīḍa went into a frenzied rage out of frustration. But the elephant-keepers goaded him on, and he furiously charged Kṛṣṇa once again.
