mārge grāma-janā rājaṁs
tatra tatropasaṅgatāḥ
vasudeva-sutau vīkṣya
prītā dṛṣṭiṁ na cādaduḥ

TRANSLATION
 | Wherever they passed along the road, O King, the village people came forward and looked upon the two sons of Vasudeva with great pleasure. In fact, the villagers could not withdraw their eyes from Them.
