nibodhata vacāṁsi naḥ
ito ’vidūre caratā
kṛṣṇeneheṣitā vayam

TRANSLATION
 | [The cowherd boys said:] Obeisances unto you, O wives of the learned brāhmaṇas. Kindly hear our words. We have been sent here by Lord Kṛṣṇa, who is passing by not far from here.
