pratilabdhendriya-prāṇaḥ
kāliyaḥ śanakair harim
kṛcchrāt samucchvasan dīnaḥ
kṛṣṇaṁ prāha kṛtāñjaliḥ

TRANSLATION

Kāliya slowly regained his vital force and sensory functions. Then, breathing loudly and painfully, the poor serpent addressed Lord Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, in humble submission.
