anye tad-anurūpāṇi
manojñāni mahātmanaḥ

sneha-klinna-dhiyaḥ śanaiḥ

TRANSLATION

My dear King, other boys would sing enchanting songs appropriate to the occasion, and their hearts would melt out of love for the Lord.
