| But how to remain celibate in Kṛṣṇa consciousness? Be happy in Kṛṣṇa consciousness. That's all. Get the paraṁ dṛṣtva nivārtate, the higher taste of devotional service. Sex is the highest pleasure in material world. Therefore, it's a number one enemy of every transcendentalist. But Kṛṣṇa talks about it in Bhagavad-gītā, that while controlling his senses, He says, "The taste for sense gratification may remain. But by experiencing the higher taste, a devotee remains fixed in consciousness."
| | So what's the best remedy for public enemy number one, sex desire? Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare / Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare. If we are strictly following, and we are happy in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, we don't have to compromise.
| | Anyway, there's many lectures, you've had many lectures on this, but I wanted that you hear from me. Because I don't want ISKCON to be attacked. ISKCON is Prabhupāda's body. Anyone who directly attacks it or indirectly attacks it by trying to create the philosophies, we can't listen to them. ISKCON is losing so many members. To Gauḍīya Maṭh, to Nārāyaṇa Mahārāja, to the ṛtviks, to gurus who are leaving ISKCON. So you have to understand a little bit of the history of all of this to understand why we shouldn't do it, as well as some of the philosophy.
